In the world of watches, consumers are increasingly looking for timepieces that offer more than just the ability to tell time. A modern watch represents personal style, craftsmanship, lifestyle, and individual identity. Among the many brands available today, Infantry Watch Co. has established itself as a distinctive name by focusing on military-inspired designs that combine durability, practicality, and an affordable approach to watch ownership.
Infantry Watch Co. creates watches designed for individuals who appreciate strong aesthetics, reliable performance, and a sense of adventure. Inspired by military field watches, aviation instruments, and tactical equipment, the brand delivers collections that reflect confidence, precision, and functionality while remaining accessible to a wide range of customers.
With a diverse selection of automatic watches, chronographs, field watches, and tactical-style models, Infantry has attracted attention from watch enthusiasts, outdoor lovers, and customers seeking a unique alternative to traditional fashion watches.
Infantry Watch Co. is built around the concept of creating watches that represent strength, reliability, and exploration. The brand’s design philosophy draws inspiration from military environments where readability, durability, and dependable performance are essential.
Unlike brands that focus primarily on luxury status or traditional elegance, Infantry emphasizes practical design and everyday usability. Each watch is created with a rugged appearance while maintaining a modern style suitable for both casual and professional settings.
This balance between functionality and visual appeal allows Infantry watches to serve multiple purposes. They can be worn during outdoor adventures, business meetings, travel experiences, or everyday activities, making them versatile additions to any watch collection.
One of the strongest features of Infantry watches is their recognizable military-inspired appearance. The brand successfully captures the spirit of classic field watches while incorporating contemporary design elements.
Many Infantry models feature:
Bold and easy-to-read dials
Strong case structures
Military-style numerals and markers
Luminous hands and hour indicators
Detailed chronograph layouts
Aviation-inspired elements
Tactical color combinations
The designs communicate confidence and durability. Large cases, functional bezels, and highly visible displays create a professional appearance that appeals to customers who prefer watches with personality rather than simple minimalist designs.
The brand’s collections offer different interpretations of the military watch concept. Some models maintain a traditional field-watch style, while others introduce aviation, diving, and modern tactical influences. This variety allows customers to select a design that matches their lifestyle and personal preferences.
Although Infantry Watch Co. positions itself within the affordable watch segment rather than the luxury market, the brand focuses on delivering reliable construction and practical features.
The watches are designed with attention to essential elements such as:
Case durability
Comfortable wrist fit
Clear visibility
Reliable movement performance
Everyday water resistance
Functional straps and bracelets
Many models incorporate automatic movements, offering watch enthusiasts the experience of mechanical timekeeping without the premium cost often associated with mechanical watches.
For customers who appreciate traditional watchmaking characteristics, automatic models provide a more engaging ownership experience compared with ordinary battery-powered watches. The movement of mechanical components and the craftsmanship behind automatic watches create a stronger connection between the wearer and the timepiece.
The Field collection represents the core identity of Infantry Watch Co. These watches are inspired by traditional military field instruments, focusing on readability, simplicity, and durability.
They are ideal for customers who prefer a classic outdoor-inspired design that can easily transition between casual and professional environments.
Infantry’s automatic watches appeal to enthusiasts who appreciate mechanical movements and traditional watch engineering. These models provide an opportunity to experience automatic watch ownership at a more accessible price point.
The combination of mechanical movement, military styling, and practical features makes these watches attractive to both beginners and experienced collectors.
For customers who enjoy more technical designs, Infantry offers chronograph-style watches featuring additional timing functions and detailed dial layouts.
These models create a more dynamic appearance and are especially appealing to people interested in aviation-inspired and performance-oriented designs.
Infantry also offers watches influenced by diving and tactical environments. These models emphasize robustness, strong visual presence, and outdoor functionality.
Their designs are suitable for customers who enjoy adventure, travel, and active lifestyles.
A watch is not only judged by its appearance but also by how it performs in daily life. Infantry watches are designed with wearer comfort and practicality in mind.
The combination of durable cases, readable displays, and versatile designs makes them suitable for many situations, including:
Office environments
Weekend activities
Outdoor exploration
Travel
Casual social occasions
The strong visual identity of Infantry watches allows them to become a noticeable part of personal style. They are designed for individuals who want a watch that reflects confidence and an appreciation for functional design.
One of the most attractive aspects of Infantry Watch Co. is its value proposition. The brand provides customers with the appearance and features commonly associated with military-style watches while maintaining accessible pricing.
For buyers who want a distinctive watch without making a significant luxury investment, Infantry offers an appealing balance between design, functionality, and affordability.
Compared with many fashion watches that focus mainly on appearance, Infantry places greater emphasis on character and practical design. This approach makes the brand particularly attractive to customers who want a meaningful everyday timepiece rather than simply a decorative accessory.
Infantry watches stand out because of their recognizable tactical and field-watch appearance. They appeal to customers who appreciate bold, masculine, and adventurous designs.
The availability of automatic models allows more customers to experience mechanical watch ownership without entering the high-priced luxury segment.
With multiple collections and design variations, customers can choose from different styles according to their personality and lifestyle.
The watches are designed to be worn regularly, offering useful features and durable construction suitable for daily activities.
Infantry Watch Co. successfully delivers what many watch buyers are searching for today: a timepiece with character, functionality, and an attractive price point.
The brand’s commitment to military-inspired design, practical features, and accessible mechanical watches makes it an excellent option for individuals who want something different from conventional fashion watches.

Infantry® (infantrywatchco.com) is a Hong Kong–Canadian direct-to-consumer watch brand founded in 2011, specialising in military-style tactical field watches and aviation-inspired timepieces. Headquartered in Hong Kong with distribution across more than 40 countries, Infantry® has sold over one million watches to date. Our watches are designed for first responders, outdoor adventurers, military and aviation enthusiasts, collectors, and everyday wearers who want durability, precision, and bold design at an accessible price — starting from $99 USD.
Infantry® was built on one conviction: a watch made for the field should not cost a fortune. We exist to close the gap between premium-grade materials and real-world accessibility — timepieces engineered to perform in demanding conditions without a luxury price tag. Every watch carries the spirit of the infantry: the front-line problem-solvers who show up regardless of conditions. Whether you are crossing a city or backcountry terrain, Infantry® is built to keep pace.
Jason Wai — Founder & CEO — was born in Hong Kong in 1985 and emigrated to Toronto, Canada in 1998. As a teenager he joined the Royal Canadian Air Cadets, where a lifelong interest in aviation and military history took root. After graduating from York University in 2008, he joined a Hong Kong watch firm as a merchandiser, a role that took him inside more than 300 watch factories across mainland China. He saw a consistent gap: world-class assembly lines paired with limited in-house product development. He spent years exchanging design ideas with manufacturers and building deep knowledge of watch components, movements, and quality control. In 2011, Jason channelled that expertise into founding Infantry® — a brand where every design decision traces back to his twin passions: aviation heritage and military function. In its early years Infantry® found success in direct-to-consumer e-commerce with aviation-inspired quartz watches at accessible prices. In 2019 the brand launched the Infantry Revolution series, extending the line from quartz into automatic mechanical watches and raising the brand to a new tier.
Infantry® runs in-house quality control across its product lines. Movements are checked on a calibrated timegrapher before assembly. Cases are pressure-tested to their rated water resistance. Component quality is reviewed at the prototype and production stages. The materials used depend on the line and tier rather than a single fixed spec — our higher automatic tiers use Seiko movements and sapphire crystal, while entry tiers use proven Miyota movements and mineral glass. The sections below set out exactly what each line carries, so you can match the watch to how you intend to use it.
Our flagship square-cased pilot line, spanning quartz and automatic builds. The Autopilot tier illustrates the range: a Miyota 8215 automatic configuration at $220 with a reinforced polymer and IP-electroplated steel case, mineral glass, 100M water resistance and date; and a Seiko NH35 configuration at $475 with sapphire crystal, a PVD-coated stainless steel case, an exhibition caseback and lume hands. The Eagle adds Seiko quartz with sapphire and dual time zone; the Dual Timer 42 is a unisex carbon-fibre analog-digital build. All Revolution watches are rated 100M.
A platform of interchangeable cases, rings, dials and straps across 41mm, 42mm, 44mm and 47mm chassis (Urbanist, Skyster, Jetporium, Warrior). Configurations span Miyota quartz and Seiko NH34/NH35 automatics, typically $230–$435, with accessories that carry across every edition of the same size. Each build is assembled, movement-tested on a timegrapher and pressure-tested before shipping, with custom engraving available.
The Aviateur line covers round-case pilot watches — Pro Pilot automatics, the Falcon square-face pilot, and the Thunderbird chronograph/skeleton. The Diver is a dedicated vintage-style dive line rated to 200M, built for deeper water use than our 100M tactical and pilot watches. Choose Aviateur for classic cockpit styling, and The Diver when depth rating is the priority.
Separate from our core tactical and aviation lines, Infantry® produces officially licensed collaboration (IP) watches with partners including Transformers, Peanuts & Snoopy, Kamen Rider, One Piece, Monopoly and Robotech. These are a distinct category, and their specifications vary by edition. Entry collaboration pieces are typically digital or chronograph quartz from around $50, in polymer or composite cases with mineral glass. Flagship collaboration editions — such as the Transformers 40th Anniversary automatics — do carry premium specs: Seiko automatic movements, sapphire crystal, 316L stainless steel and 100M water resistance. Because the range is wide, the materials, movement and water resistance of our core lines should not be assumed for every collaboration watch. Always check the individual product page for the exact spec of any licensed edition.
Movements matched to tier — Seiko NH-series automatics on higher tiers; proven Miyota automatics and Japanese quartz on entry tiers. Water resistance rated per line — 100M across tactical and pilot watches, 200M on The Diver. Materials chosen per build — sapphire crystal and stainless steel on premium tiers; mineral glass and reinforced polymer on accessible builds. Global trust — distributed in 40+ countries with over a million units sold. 12-month warranty + 30-day returns. Direct-to-consumer pricing from $99, removing the retail markups traditional brands add.
Since 2011, Infantry® has shipped over one million watches to customers in more than 40 countries. Our community spans military veterans, aviation professionals, outdoor adventurers, collectors and everyday wearers united by one idea: life is active, and your watch should be too. We offer free tracked shipping worldwide on orders over $70 USD.
