Since 2008, we've traveled the world purveying the largest deadstock vintage eyewear archive of frames from the 1950s – '00s. After 10+ years of purveying our archive, it was time we brought the fun back to optical.Given the demand we've created with our OG VF fam, there was a need to be able to meet the requests of our growing community looking for dope frames to fit their personalities. So in 2018 we started to design and produce our own frames.

First order placed December 3rd. A one-person operation, a Shopify store, and a dream to make the best sabers accessible to everyone. Launched the "Gar" saber with @garcheeks — our first exclusive design and first creator partnership. The collab that started it all. Hit 50K on TikTok. Launched exclusive sabers with top creators. Ran a giveaway every single day in December. Ended the year with 300K+ combined followers. Launched the Nova — sold out in 24 hours. Took our creators to Disneyland. Set up our first convention booth and met the community face to face.SaberTheory became The Saber Company. New name, same mission. Shot our rebrand promo on real film — no AI. Gave away 100+ sabers at conventions. Launched our own display cases.
