The company was founded in California in 1966 by two Swiss brothers who drew inspiration from leather ski boots to create what K-Swiss describes as the first all-leather tennis shoe. The original K-Swiss Classic was introduced around the time of the Wimbledon tennis tournament and subsequently became one of the company’s defining products.  One of the most impressive aspects of the K-Swiss website is the breadth of its product portfolio.
